Combination Power / Exit Units

Combination power / exit units communicate the location of an exit within a building and provide battery-powered light in the event there is a loss of normal power to a building's lighting system. They are used to clearly indicate the direction you must take in order to exit the building while lighting the immediate area via spot lights. They are used to light rooms, hallways, stairwells and other areas of access in order that people can safely leave a building during a power outage or fire emergency.

Many combination power / exit units are capable of running multiple remote heads (lights) so that a number or areas of a building can be illuminated from a single combination power / exit unit. The number of remote heads that can be connected to a power unit depend on the size of the power unit, the size of the remote head and the distance of the heads from that power unit.
