Thermal Cameras

HIKVISION Thermal Cameras provide state of the art surveillance and fire detection monitoring, which is essential for manufacturing operations such as construction sites, power generation plants, parking facilities, and more. These thermal cameras feature a highly sensitive infrared sensor that detects changes in temperature within a large range of -20°C to 550°C (-4°F to 1,022°F). The thermal accuracy of the cameras is rated to ± 2°C (± 3.6°F), and the high quality detector within the camera comes with a 10-year guarantee. These thermal cameras are also equipped with optical lenses that provide video footage as would be seen by the human eye, rather than an infrared thermal image. The optical lens is able to function 24/7 because it utilizes infrared technology to produce high quality video footage in low-light or no-light conditions.

HikVision thermal cameras feature a fire detection software that utilizes an algorithm in order to alert you of the presence of a fire as quickly as possible. Temperature measurement thresholds are also able to be put in place so that when an area or object’s temperature exceeds a set value, a pre-alarm or alarm will trigger. HIKVISION Thermal cameras feature high precision Video Content Analysis (VCA) deep learning technology. The VCA available on the Thermal Cameras includes: line crossing, intrusion, region entrance/exit, and human and vehicle filtering.

Installing a HIKVISION Thermal Cameras is as easy as a standard video surveillance camera since it utilizes PoE technology. Simply mount the camera where it can appropriately monitor the scene and connect an ethernet cord that runs to the Network Video Recorder (NVR).

The Bullet thermal camera models and the Dual PTZ camera both feature smoke detection technology that is able to detect the characteristics of smoke and output a pre-alarm and alarm to protect the property.

Advanced thermal video monitoring needs, such as those for industrial manufacturing processes, are serviced by the HikVision Dual PTZ 10mm thermal camera. Intended for the supervision of pyrophoric materials in factories, electric substations, and hydropower stations, this camera provides top-tier protection from fire. It has all the capabilities of other HikVision thermal cameras, and the capabilities of smart tracking and image processing technology. Smart tracking is enabled by the pivoting camera turret, and can provide panorama tracking, event tracking, and multi-scene patrol tracking. Its image processing technology enables thermal recordings to be processed with methods such as linear, histogram, self-adaptive thermal AGC mode, and more.
