SDS-GHS Stations

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Globally Harmonized System (GHS) chemical warning labels are crucial when it comes to keeping your workplace safe and in compliance with state, national, and global safety standards. While GHS labels provide clear, pictograph-style signage indicating what risks a chemical poses and what safety precautions are needed, SDS binders keep detailed information about those chemicals in an easily accessible, central location.

As with any information system, organization is everything. Safety Data Sheets must be stored in clearly marked binders and made available to everyone in your plant or office. SDS storage cases and information stations have clearly labelled SDS signs, SDS alarms, and durable metal pockets to hold the relevant binders.

GHS signs comply with United Nations standards and deliver critical information to your employees. GHS warnings cover three main hazard groups; physical, health, and environmental. Make sure you have prominently displayed wall charts that explain in detail what each of the GHS alarms means.

Herbert Williams has a team of experienced specialists standing by, ready to help you decode the SDS and GHS notification systems and happy to answer any questions you have about which industrial safety signs are the right fit for your company at sales@herbertwilliams.com.
