FIREBOY MU SERIES (MANUAL & AUTOMATIC) 275 CU. FT. FK-5-1-12 FIRE PROTECTION FLUID SYSTEM

Fireboy MU Series Horizontal Mount FK-5-1-12 fire protection system is a clean agent total-flooding, fire suppression system ideal for boats with engine compartments from 25 cu. ft. (.7 cu. m.) up to 485 cu. ft. (13.7 cu. m.) in size. The system discharges automatically at 175°F (79°C) or an optional 155°F (68°C) and can be manually discharged using the Discharge Cable (sold separately).

Steps to determine what size you need:

1. Determine the volume of your engine compartment in cubic feet or cubic meters.
   Volume Protected = L x W x H.
   Do NOT deduct for engines, fixed tanks, or other equipment.
2. Using the Fireboy MU Series FK-5-1-12 Model and Size Chart, find your engine compartment in the Volume Protected column and identify the corresponding Model number.
   Example: MU0485NVC-F = automatic discharge with optional manual discharge, 485 cubic feet coverage.
   NOTE: When in doubt, always select the larger model size for adequate protection.
3. Determine the length of Manual Release Cable needed to easily reach from the fire extinguisher to the main helm station.

WARNING: Craft with equipment that draws intake air from within a protected space requires the installation of an Engine Shutdown System.
