The Mircom FHS-400-LF Low Frequency Sounder Strobe is a wall-mounted notification appliance designed to meet NFPA 72 requirements for notification in sleeping areas. It emits a 520 Hz ±10% square wave tone, which is proven to be more effective in warning individuals during emergencies, particularly those who are asleep. The device features customizable audible patterns, including Temporal 3, Temporal 4, Continuous, and 20 BPM tones, with selectable high and normal volume settings. Its advanced LED technology offers multiple candela settings—15, 30, 75, 15/75, 110, and 185 cd—providing flexibility to suit various application needs. The FHS-400-LF is compatible with both VDC and VFWR power supplies and can be synchronized using the MGC protocol or the MIX-4050 sync module. It is UL and ULC listed, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
