Emergency Power Units
Emergency power units provide battery-powered light in the event there is a loss of normal power to a building's lighting system. They are used to light rooms, hallways, stairwells and other areas of access in order that people can safely leave a building during a power outage or fire emergency.
Many emergency power units are capable of running multiple remote heads (lights) so that a number or areas of a building can be illuminated from a single power unit. The number of remote heads that can be connected to a power unit depend on the size of the power unit, the size of the remote head and the distance of the heads from that power unit.
