Drum covers are an essential component in preventing fires. They can convert an ordinary drum storage bin into a fire-safe storage bin for hazardous and combustible waste. Drum covers can be easily installed using a screwdriver and a wrench.
Durable steel construction with powder-coat finish provides excellent chemical resistance. Ideal for the aircraft, furniture manufacture, and printing industries or anywhere solvent-soaked cloths are used.
Covers are available in manual or self-closing models. For added safety, a replaceable fusible-link assembly melts at 165°F (74ºC) to automatically allow spring-loaded cover to slam shut if there is a fire in the drum.
